A Family-Friendly Tour

Wine Valley Safari has created a variety of fun-filled child-friendly family tours in Robertson, South Africa, specifically to accommodate families traveling with children.

Our open-air safari vehicle allows baby car seats to be strapped in safely. Bring your baby car seat and let your little one enjoy the beautifully scenic and carefree ride with you.

Toddlers will enjoy hopping-off at a new destination every hour, to discover special activities for kids at each estate. From concurring the play/jungle gyms, to running through the majestic garden paths, stepping underground to explore a rustic underground cellar, cruising on a Breederiver boat and trying out fishing.

Mum and dad can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy amazing lunch spots while the kids are fully entertained with outdoor adventures.

While parents enjoy a food and wine pairing platter the kids can try out the juice and treat pairing platter to learn more about their taste buds with different flavour sensations.

The Wine Valley Safari offer various tours on every day of the week. For a family friendly holiday near Cape Town we highly recommend the Golden Mile route on the #FreestyleWineValleySafari that runs every Saturday, from Robertson or Montagu. It is ensured to keep the kids entertained to enjoy their day out with mum and dad in the fresh country air!

Teens with an interest in viticulture, will enjoy the Wine Appreciation Tour even more. This educational tour runs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and will teach children about the true art of wine making, meeting the winemaker with a terrior and cellar tour to learn about the wine-making process and understanding the impact of mother nature on each vintage.

There are so many kid-friendly activities to do in the Robertson Wine Valley that will ensure quality family time for long-lasting memories.

Apart from the wine route, you can take your children on hiking trails, mountain climbing, river rafting, canoeing, horse riding, fishing, bird watching and even skydiving. Traveling with children in the Cape Winelands can truly be a blast.
