Bon Courage dates back to 1818, with the stately Cape Dutch homestead and century-old vineyards telling stories of resilience and dedication. The Bruwer family has stewarded the estate since 1927, now spanning three generations. Today, renowned Cellar Master Jacques Bruwer continues the family tradition, creating wines of elegance, consistency, and intense fruit character from the estate’s unique terroir.
Three rivers converge on the 120-hectare property, creating diverse soils of limestone, clay, and alluvial deposits that impart remarkable complexity — especially to their Chardonnay, Pinotage, Shiraz, and flagship Méthode Cap Classique under the prestigious Jacques Bruére label.
