McGregor is a unique, eccentric and therapeutic village away from the crowds where you can truly unwind, step back in time and just relax. The 19th century village dreams away in a quiet valley at the end of a road going no-where. Here life is slow, tranquil and gentle.

Beautiful preserved white-washed cottages nestle in half-wild gardens, surrounded by mountains, fruit orchards, olive groves and vineyards, the village has maintained a peaceful, rural ambiance.

Stop 1:

Start the day with an MCC tasting at Paul René.

Stop 2:

Use your time in McGregor to enjoy lunch at one of the several fine restaurants, visit the art galleries, pottery studio or go for a massage therapy. You can even rent a bike and cycle a heritage tour of McGregor.

Stop 3:

We continue with a drive up to the mountain to enjoy a wine tasting at Lord’s Winery 

Stop 4:

Followed with a tasting at McGregor Wines.

Stop 5:

If time allows, we end the day with a Grappa tasting at the Tanagra Private Cellar.
